Color Photography |
This photographic series is abstracted portraits and self-portraits. The face was used a projection screen for lights covered with gels. Various shutter speeds and camera movement were used
to abstract the face. The final images are 11X14. |
Junior Project |
Basketball has always been one of my favorite things to photograph.
When I shoot a basketball game I turn my conscious off and let my
subconscious take the pictures. When looking at the negatives, there were little stories that were popping out. The images were printed in diptychs or triptychs as they were seen on the negative. The final image size is 16X20 and the images were taken with a 35-mm camera and a zoom lens. |

Senior Thesis |
For my senior thesis, I further explored the 4X5 camera. I set up scenes using tools from the WWI era. The photographs were displayed at The Print Center in Philadelphia for the senior show. There are eight final images printed at 4X5. |
Studio |
The requirement for this class was to use the studio and lighting techniques to make photographs. I have a strong interest in sports,
athletes, and in portraits. I decided to combine my interests to
take sports portraits. The images were made with a 4 X5 large format camera and flash bulb ighting. The final images are 11X14 |
Thesis Semester 2 |
This project was part of my second semester in senior thesis. I went back to shooting basketball and focused on gestures and movement. I used chemicals to enhance the gestures. The final print size is 14X14 |
